Co-operation

Dear Diary,

Progress. Sobriety. Bugger. But no buggery. Bummer.

This rainy Wodensday morning means no cigarettes, no sac, and certainly nothing else spicy. Aye. Today is another seige day. I could roll the dice and eat into my travel expenses for the Solent gig (lectures) but I do not wish to jepordise mine future, career, and indeed the futures of the Blue-Team Making Sense of Things essay two group-work wiki-quicky. (Not that anything done at the first rung - level one - has any bearing whatever on ones final score. All we have to do is pass. That will not stop us from trying the best we can, aiming high for distinction.)

This is the contemporary comparison for a cabinet of curiosity (early modern era). Alas, I am ploughing through the book at a steady pace, while I'm on schedule according to the website, I am behind schedule on my personal yardstick. The empor- sorry, 'leader' or 'facilitator' should be well-read, up to speed on all appropriate documentation, and fully informed that he may make decisions wisely.

I am to give up teaching guitar for this one student, her old dear is - more or less - forcing her to learn, and the girl doesn't want to. You've no idea how difficult it is teaching someone who has no will to learn. It is why I have my sights set on landing a teaching job somewhere the students are willing to learn (e.g. University).

Speaking of which, I had a call from Slabbi (of the Storks) who's in town, over here in Blightey for a time. Once he finishes up his work here, we're to get together and catch up. I begged him for a teaching job, I must learn Spanish and Catalan (and have a degree!) to be able to be employed by him. This is fine, I have a penchant for learning, and a gift for speaking languages. Already speaking French will make Catalan easier, and then Spanish need only be a small step. My dream retirement to an Anarcomunitarist enclave somewhere in remote Spain will, with any luck, one day be fulfilled.

Socialism means equality for all. The place I have in mind, everybody earns the same wage. It is the intellectual incentive to achieve, not base greed. If people are happy picking up litter (i.e. making a beautiful world) then so be it. If other people are happy furthering their intellect (i.e. learning, then teaching) then that is what they do. As Lafargue said, "Each according to their needs". As a result of this way of thinking, the commune I am looking at retiring to have no musicians (they all go where the money is, they're all skint, and care too much about cash). So I intend to install myself as comrade in a comunitarist community. Co-op. Co-operation. Equality. Socialist. C0mmunist. Stay true to your roots, and,

Stay On the Flex,

Maximus. xx
