Dear Diary,
Today I awoke bitten by a vengeful spider, who exacted his (or her) retribution because I dusted the ceiling where the arachnids rest. The little bugger crawled up my leg and bit me directly behind the knee. It is still swollen now, a red bulbous spot. Needless to say, I had crashed in Stig's pit, for the first time.
This morning was the stall, all very monotonous, mundane, too much like hard work. If I wasn't so bad at budgeting (much like Marx) then I would surely not have to do favours for food. At least she can cook. Anyway.
I went home, jumped in the bath, then counted up the ballot. We won the human body theme and today I have been researching DNA (not unique for identical twins apparently!) and also I've been looking up HIV, all for the project. I am so bored.
The Olympic torch race may well be cancelled in my old home town, due to these Biblical floods. It's a shame, I was looking forward to the spectacle; wanting to film some of our roleplayers getting arrested, turning the torch into a bong, then running along with it, constantly reloading the smoking device, some sort of mellow marathon, akin to the Dutch cycling team.
Dadio sent some replacement pens for me. None are the fountain pen I need, but they are excellent for penning music and drawing cartoons. Today I even began sketching. It's lame. I am resolved that the only two things I can draw well are maps and cartoon people. It shouldn't be too long until I make the switch from Obsidian Portal to here for my robus blog. The reason being I don't require all the extra functionality such as the wiki tool and interactive map - to get anything decent going one must pay for it on that site. Since being banned from my old virtual hang-out (ukrp) for railing against Christianity (bad move when the head moderator is an actual preacher!) I have moved away to OP and now, back here.
I would like to have stayed at ukrp or OP but they're both really lame. Ukrp because they put all my uploaded images in scroll boxes, then said it was because they were too large. I noticed all the other images were not hemmed-in, only mine, even though they were the same size. It doesn't matter. They're all uppity anyway (apart from Mr. Toad). So, because OP have a limited the length of the posts pasted via mobile devices (much like the OU blogs do) thus making OP un-usable, feckless, so I've abandoned them. Anyway, I'm happy here. The text is funky looking, the images are not cropped, the site is more secure than either OU or wordpress (by the way, some f- ferret is still reading forums from my profile. I never bother to read the national introductory forum, but the number of read posts keeps going down. Curosity killed the hack. I just change my password twice daily. F- ferret.)
So watch this space for the Snuggle-Nook web-comic. I wanted to keep my hobby and life-writing seperate, but it is not possible. The only drawback of this site, is they make money from mobile blogging, not from the upgrades like wordpress. At least I can have fancy fonts and fantastic images here, even if all that must be done from a computer on the web - something I don't have.
This afternoon I helped pack up the stall. It was stormy, but now is sunny and warm, the calm after the storm. Alas, Maximus, Get Back On the Flex: then stay there.
Maxx
